Fee Fi Fo Fum! I smell South Wilford children!

We were very excited when we found some golden magic beans in our classroom! We decided to plant them and see what happened. The very next morning we were amazed to see that a beanstalk had grown overnight! We learnt about the different parts of a plant, and that they needed water, air and sunlight in order to grow healthily. We planted some cress and other fruit, vegetables and flowers in our outside area, and wrote information leaflets for looking after our cress. We read the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, and acted it out on the stage outside, and in our Giant’s Castle role play area. We made and measured playdough beanstalks and painted some beautiful pictures of flowers. We made number bonds to 10 with the Giant’s gold coins.
