Learning Spanish at South Wilford
Spanish club is a group of around 20 Year 4 children. We meet on Thursday lunchtimes.
We are learning basic language skills and also a little about the culture of Spain. We are really enjoying ourselves and becoming more and more confident.
We play games, listen to music, watch films of life in Spain, read Spanish books and have even been tasting Spanish food.
We tried eating Spanish food including Manchego cheese!
Trying patatas bravas with chorizo- this was our favourite.
We sometimes read books we know in Spanish like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and the Bad Tempered Ladybird.
We play games to practice including jigsaws, card games and bean bags!
