As a school, we are always keen to know what our stakeholders think about us.
We use many different forums to listen to the ‘Pupil Voice’. These include our very active School / Eco Council, our regular ‘Tea with the Headteacher’ sessions and discussions involving the children and their class teachers.
Similarly, we provide many different forums for parents to share their views with us. Aside from the opportunities each day to speak to class teachers or the Headteacher, we have our ‘Meet the team’ meetings at the beginning of each academic year and our regular Parents’ Evenings (October and February). In the summer term, we launched an on-line Parent Survey and we were very grateful to receive such a high level of feedback, most of which provided us with re-assurance that we are doing well and some of which gave us ideas for how we might do things better.
As well as sharing your views with the school there is a web-based facility called Parent View which provides you with an opportunity for you to tell Ofsted what you think about South Wilford Primary School. There is a link to Parent View further down this page.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.
Ofsted will often use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.
By sharing your views via Parent View, you will be helping your child’s school to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about your child’s school.
Please do keep letting us have your feedback (by whatever means you feel most comfortable with) as it really does help us greatly in shaping the future of our school.
