Welcome to South Wilford Church of England Primary School
We are a community-based two-form entry faith Primary School with a history dating back almost 300 years.
We are extremely fortunate to have a highly engaged and supportive school family which includes our parents and carers, our colleagues at Transform Trust, the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham and Carter’s Educational Foundation. The most treasured members of the school family are our 390 children ranging from 4 years in our Early Years Foundation Stage to aged 11 years in Year 6.
We have the most amazing resources, not just our modern school buildings but our vast playing field and outdoor spaces that enable us to run a farm and offer extensive outdoor learning opportunities through our Forest School Provision.
This is a simple concept that all of our children can grasp and it naturally threads through every aspect of school life from the way we approach our learning, to our conduct and behaviour, the respect we have for the environment and our relationships and the way we care for others.
We have six school values which reflect our Christian ethos:
These are embedded within our evolving curriculum which we strive to ensure is exciting, inspiring and brave.
Visitors to our school are warmly welcomed, please arrange an appointment via the school office.
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy viewing our website!
