Curriculum Impact

Pupils Voice

‘We have the chance to ask questions all the time in our lessons. We are allowed to challenge and disagree with things. We discuss things in a fair way.’

‘We learn from mistakes in class and we are encouraged to take risks and be brave in our learning’.

‘We ask big questions through ‘DISCO’. The questions don’t always have one answer and that makes us think more deeply’.

‘Our teachers know us well. They know what we need to do to improve and they make sure we know too.’

‘Our learning is exciting because we can go wherever we want to with our I pads- there are no limits to our learning’

‘We can learn in lots of ways to suit our character, We can learn outside on the farm or in the wildlife area.  For some of us, that is the best way.’

Our environment reflects our learning, showing diversity, pupil voice, deep thinking and our school’s Christian values.

Building Skills and knowledge

The curriculum allows our children to build skills that will equip them for life in the 21st century.  It helps children to be confident and brave in their learning and prepares them to be effective global citizens of the future.

Developing ways of Learning

Our children work across the curriculum developing questioning, curiosity, problem solving and curiosity. They are able to work independently, collaboratively and using technology to support and enhance the curriculum.
