As a school we believe that communication between the school and home is imperative. To ensure we have a clear communication between the two we use a system called ‘School Gateway’.

Using the app, you can send messages directly to school, free of charge, regarding anything from child’s absence to general queries. It works in a similar way to the messaging system WhatsApp (emails will continue to be delivered to your normal mail inbox). We as a school will also send reminders and FYI’s via the app to keep you up to date.

The main benefit of the app is that both parents will be able to download it and receive all school communications. In order to benefit from this, we need you to notify the school office when both parents have downloaded the app and ensure that we have email and mobile numbers for both parents. We will then set up both parents to receive all messages.

The School Gateway App can be downloaded free of charge onto your phone or tablet. Please see below some further instructions;

School Gateway is the fast, easy, low cost way for parents and schools to communicate.

• Your school must have School Gateway before you can use this app.
• You must turn on push notifications for the app to receive messages and updates from your school.
• To register/login your school must have your email address and phone number on their school’s system. If you cannot log in please check these details are up-to-date at your school.
• Your app will automatically display information for multiple children /schools as long as the schools use School Gateway. Please check your email address and mobile number at all your schools match.
• If both parents want to login please make sure their email address and mobile number are also registered with the school.
